Yes, modern aluminium doors are highly energy efficient. The key is the “thermal break” – a polyamide barrier inside the frame that separates the inner and outer aluminium, preventing heat loss. Combined with double or triple glazing filled with argon gas, our doors achieve excellent U-values (often as low as 0.8 W/m²K), meeting and exceeding current Building Regulations.
