Bi-Fold Door Installation

The owners of Brevity Farm wanted to enhance their home’s connection to the surrounding countryside by installing large, modern bi-folding doors. The goal was to replace older French doors with a wider, more open system that would flood the living area with natural light and provide uninterrupted garden views.

Our Solution

We supplied and installed a set of aluminium bi-folding doors designed for both beauty and performance. The system featured:

• Slim-profile thermally broken aluminium frames for strength and efficiency
• Double-glazed safety glass for excellent insulation and durability
• Smooth-glide track system for effortless operation
• Multipoint locking and shoot bolts for enhanced security
• Anthracite grey powder-coated finish (RAL 9016) to complement the property’s style
• The new bi-fold doors created a seamless transition between the indoor and outdoor spaces — perfect for entertaining and enjoying the views across the farm grounds.

Installation Process

The installation was completed over two days. Our team carefully removed the old doors and widened the existing opening to accommodate the new bi-fold system. After preparing the structure, the aluminium frames were fitted with precision, and the glass panels were aligned for smooth folding and sliding action. All weather seals were tested to ensure complete insulation and security.
