A homeowner in Milton Keynes was undertaking a ground floor renovation and wanted to replace outdated patio doors with a modern sliding system that would open up the living space and provide uninterrupted garden views. Our Solution

We supplied and installed Schüco ASS 70.HI sliding doors — a premium aluminium system offering ultra-slim sightlines, superior energy efficiency, and effortless sliding functionality. The doors were fabricated in anthracite grey (RAL 7016) to match the new interior styling and featured high-security multi-point locking and toughened double glazing. The system provided a wide clear opening while maximising light entry and visual connection with the outdoor space.

Installation Process

The installation took place over two days. The existing doors and frame were removed, and the structural opening was reinforced where necessary to accommodate the large sliding units. Our team then precisely installed the new Schüco system, ensuring exact alignment, secure fitting, and effective weather sealing. After final checks and adjustments, the installation was finished with clean internal reveals and external trims for a flawless result.
