Aluminium Doors & Windows Installation

A semi-detached house in Marlow required a complete upgrade of its windows and front entrance door. The existing uPVC units had yellowed, warped, and allowed noticeable heat loss and external noise penetration. The homeowners wanted a premium, cohesive solution in red to create a bold, distinctive look and enhance kerb appeal. The goal was to install aluminium windows and a matching entrance door in RAL 3000 (Flame Red) to deliver superior thermal performance, security, and a striking aesthetic.

Our Solution

We supplied and installed a bespoke aluminium window and door system in RAL 3000 (Flame Red) throughout the property. The solution included:

• Slim-profile aluminium casement windows with concealed friction hinges
• Red aluminium front entrance door with decorative double-glazed panels
• Thermally broken profiles to prevent heat loss and condensation
• Double-glazed units with low-E coating and argon gas fill
• Multi-point locking systems on all windows and the entrance door
• Matching red handles and hardware for a unified finish
• Low-threshold cill on the entrance door for step-free access
• Matching red sills, trims, and hardware for a seamless finish

Installation Process

• Carried out full site survey with laser measurements of all openings
• Removed existing uPVC windows and door carefully to preserve brickwork and internal plaster
• Disposed of all old frames and glass responsibly
• Checked and prepared lintels, reveals, and sills
• Widened the entrance door opening where required to accommodate the new door
• Installed steel support lintel above the new door opening
• Lifted red aluminium window frames into position using precision packers
• Lifted red aluminium door frame into position using precision packers
• Mechanically fixed all frames to the structure ensuring zero movement
• Hung the door slab on stainless steel hinges
• Fitted double-glazed sealed units into all windows and the door
• Installed multi-point locking mechanisms and tested all locks
• Spray-foamed all perimeter gaps and applied internal/external silicone seals
• Adjusted all window hinges, door hinges, and handles for smooth operation
• Completed thorough clean of all glass, frames, and surrounding areas
