Glass Doors & Partitions in commercial Office Space

A prestigious office space in Mayfair required a complete internal redesign to create a modern, open-plan environment while maintaining private meeting areas. The existing layout consisted of solid walls and outdated timber doors, making the space feel dark, cramped, and inefficient for collaborative work. The goal was to install frameless glass doors and partitions to enhance natural light flow, improve spatial flexibility, and deliver a contemporary, high-end aesthetic befitting a Mayfair location.

Our Solution

We supplied and installed a bespoke frameless glass partitioning system with matching glass doors. The solution included:

• Fully frameless double-glazed partitions for superior acoustic privacy between meeting rooms and open-plan areas
• Sliding glass doors with brushed stainless steel handles and top-hung tracking for smooth, quiet operation
• Single-glazed pivot doors for private offices, offering a minimalist look
• Frosted privacy film applied to selected glass panels (level 3 opacity) for confidentiality without sacrificing light
• Floor-to-ceiling clamping systems with no visible fixings for a seamless appearance
• Black anodised aluminium channeling to complement the office’s premium fit-out
• Acoustic seals around all door perimeters to meet meeting room soundproofing requirements

Installation Process

• Conducted detailed laser survey of the office floor plan and ceiling grid
• Coordinated with the office refurbishment team to align with build timelines
• Removed existing solid walls and timber door frames carefully
• Installed floor and ceiling tracking channels using precision laser leveling
• Fitted double-glazed partition panels into channels and secured with compression gaskets
• Hung top-hung sliding glass doors and adjusted tracking for effortless movement
• Installed pivot glass doors with floor springs and top pivots for smooth rotation
• Applied frosted privacy film to specified panels using bubble-free application
• Fitted all handles, locks, and acoustic seals
• Tested all doors for operation, alignment, and acoustic performance
• Completed thorough clean of all glass surfaces, tracks, and hardware
