Installation of uPVC Casement Windows

A residential property required a full set of replacement windows. The existing timber frames were rotting, draughty, and difficult to operate, leading to high energy bills and external noise penetration. The goal was to install uPVC casement windows that offer security, thermal efficiency, low maintenance, and a clean, modern appearance.

Our Solution

We supplied and installed high-performance white uPVC casement windows throughout the property. The solution included:

• A-rated double glazing with argon gas fill and low-E coating for superior insulation
• Side-hung casement openings with concealed friction hinges
• Multi-point locking systems with anti-snap cylinders and security handles
• Trickle vents to reduce condensation and improve indoor air quality
• Reinforced frames for added strength and durability
• Matching white sills, trims, and hardware for a seamless finish
• Optional acoustic glass for bedrooms facing busy roads

Installation Process

• Carried out pre-installation survey with laser measurements for each opening
• Removed old windows carefully to preserve brickwork and internal plaster
• Disposed of all waste materials responsibly
• Inspected and prepared lintels, reveals, and sills
• Installed new uPVC frames using galvanised fixings and expanding foam
• Fitted double-glazed sealed units into each frame
• Applied internal and external silicone seals for full weatherproofing
• Adjusted all hinges, handles, and locking mechanisms for smooth operation
• Cleaned all glass, frames, sills, and surrounding areas thoroughly
• Conducted final walkthrough to confirm satisfaction
