Project Overview
This high-spec residential renovation in Frognal, London, required the installation of premium aluminium windows and a flat roof skylights to bring more natural light into the home while improving overall insulation and energy performance. The client wanted a minimal, modern aesthetic that matched the contemporary design of the refurbished property.
Our Solution
We supplied and installed Schüco aluminium windows throughout the property — known for their slim sightlines, excellent thermal insulation, and sleek design. To enhance vertical light flow, we also installed a flat roof skylight with double-glazed, self-cleaning glass. The skylight was strategically positioned above the central staircase to allow natural daylight to flood the core of the home. All frames were powder-coated in a RAL 7016 anthracite grey finish to complement the architectural style.
Installation Process
The installation was carefully planned and executed over several days. Our team removed the existing windows and prepared the openings before installing each Schüco unit with exacting precision. The flat skylights was craned into position and mounted onto a pre-constructed upstand, sealed and insulated for optimal performance. Once all units were in place, we completed internal finishing and weatherproofing to ensure a seamless integration with the rest of the build.
