A substantial property extension in the picturesque village of Bovingdon required a complete glazing solution to bring the new open-plan living space to life. Aluminium Windows (White):

• Matching aluminium casement windows in white (RAL 9010) flanking the sliding door
• Slim-profile frames for clean sightlines and a cohesive aesthetic
• Thermally broken profiles for energy efficiency and condensation control
• Double-glazed units with low-E coating and argon gas fill throughout
• Side-hung casement openings with concealed friction hinges
• Multi-point locking systems for enhanced security

Installation Process

• Conducted a detailed site survey with precision laser measurement of all openings in the new extension
• Coordinated with the extension build schedule to ensure timely installation
• Removed temporary boarding and prepared all structural openings
• Installed steel reinforcement lintels where required for larger spans
• Lifted the grey aluminium sliding door frame into position using precision packers
• Lifted the white aluminium window frames into position alongside the door
• Mechanically fixed all frames to the new masonry and timber studwork ensuring zero movement
• Fitted the fixed glazed panel into the sliding door frame
• Hung the sliding door panels onto the roller mechanism
• Adjusted rollers for smooth, effortless sliding operation
• Fitted double-glazed sealed units into the sliding door and all windows
• Installed multi-point locking mechanisms on all elements and tested every lock
• Spray-foamed all perimeter gaps with high-expansion insulation foam
• Applied internal and external silicone seals for airtight, watertight finish
• Adjusted all handles, hinges, and locking mechanisms for smooth operation
• Completed thorough clean of all glass, frames, tracks, and surrounding areas
