A residential property in St Albans required a new patio door to replace an ageing sliding unit that had become stiff to operate, draughty, and visually dated. Installation Process

• Conducted a site survey with precision laser measurements of the existing opening
• Confirmed the sliding configuration, glazing specification, and hardware with the residents
• Removed the old sliding patio door and frame carefully to preserve surrounding brickwork and internal finishes
• Disposed of all waste materials responsibly
• Inspected and prepared the structural opening, lintel, and sub-cill
• Lifted the white aluminium frame into position using precision packers and laser levels
• Mechanically fixed the frame to the structure, ensuring zero movement
• Fitted the fixed glazed panel and hung the sliding panel on the roller mechanism
• Adjusted rollers for smooth, effortless sliding operation
• Installed toughened double-glazed sealed units into both panels
